The MENAFATF, in collaboration with the SIC in Lebanon, International Monetary Fund and the World Bank, held the 4th workshop on “Training Assessors” between 3 – 7 October 2010 in Beirut, Lebanon.

The workshop was inaugurated by Mr. Adel Hamad Al Qulish, MENAFATF, Executive Secretary, Mr. Abdel Hafiz Mansour, the SIC Secretary, 2 representatives from the Internal Security Forces and the Public Prosecutor at the Court of Cassation in the Lebanese Republic.

The workshop, attended by 46 financial and legal experts from the member countries, aims at training the participants and developing their expertise and skills to enable them participate efficiently in future assessments conducted by the MENAFATF within the 1st round of mutual evaluation.
